| From the lifeboat station turn immediately right and walk about 600 yards along the B4572 coastal road to Aberystwyth, to the point where a lane branches off on the left. Turn left on to the subsidiary lane and continue to the speed delimiting signs just after the end of the built up area. |

| Walk past the speed delimiting signs and , after about 300 yards , go past a track on your right. Approximately 100 yards after the track look for a gap in the hedge on your left forming a path into the wood. |

| Turn left on to the track and follow it through the woods. When it emerges f rom the woods go through the gate and follow the path to yuor right, keeping the fence on your right until you come to another gare after whch keep the fence on your left until you come to gate on to a tarmacced lane.This is a very scenic section of the route. |

| Turn left along the lane and follow it down until it meets the Aberystwyth-Borth B4353 road near a railway bridge. |

| With great care because of oncoming traffic with the bridge having no pedestrian way, turn left, cross the road. walk under the bridge and follow the lane to the right, down into Dolybont. Walk over the steep hump back bridge and up 300 yards through the village to where you see a lane going left. |

| Turn left along the lane and walk the half mile or so to the far end of the Lane. At that point Turn left a along a footpath which in 40 yards brings you to a footbridge across the afon Leri. |

| Turn right past the footbridge and walk along the embankment with the Leri on your right and a caravan site on your left. After half a mile you will arrive at the former Animalarium. |

| Turn left just before the former Animalarium itself and walk down the lane for 500 yards, taking care at the level crossing, to arrive at the main street of Borth. |

| Turn left at the main road to walk back the 500 yards to your start point at the Lifeboat Station. Treat yourself to a coffee or other refreshment at one of the cafes of Borth |
